We arrived to find no toilet paper in the bathroom and no pool towels. The Wi-Fi signal in our room was weak or unusable for most of our stay. In the “upgraded” suite, the bathtub had no hot water and kept running with a trickle that couldn't be stopped. The shower only got lukewarm, and there was no way to adjust its temperature. Breakfast was disappointing, and the coffee didn't seem freshly brewed as claimed. Taken together, this was far below what I'd expect from a boutique hotel. We were moved into that suite because the air conditioning in our original room wasn't working. If we'd paid the full price for it, we would have been very upset. During our five-day stay, the room was never cleaned. We complained, but no one came to clean it or bring fresh towels.

The pool is beautiful, with great sea views, and breakfast was included with a nice selection. Our room was clean but very basic. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted, the towels were very cheap, and the sheets were too small for the bed, leaving the mattress exposed. There was no room to open the bathroom door, no hair dryer, and nowhere to put toiletries in the shower. The hotel isn't within walking distance of food, stores, or beaches, and the road there is in very poor condition, with difficult parking.

The views were amazing, and Toninha's beach is only a five-minute walk away. The place was clean and well organized, the people were very friendly, and breakfast was superb. A great place to stay.
