Pousada Ubatuba do Alto

The only drawback for me was the somewhat tiring climb up to the chalets. The place itself is beautiful and comfortable, with peaceful surroundings and nature all around, while still close to the main shopping area, restaurants, and Praia do Flavio, one of the most tranquil and attractive beaches near downtown Ubatuba. The chalets have everything you need for a pleasant stay. Daniela is a wonderful person, always attentive, sharing lots of excursion tips, bringing us what we needed, and teaching us about caring for the environment. We planned a week but stayed for two. We’ll definitely return and recommend it!

It’s quiet and secluded, with a nice sea view, and everything was clean. The TV and internet worked well, and the host was polite and helpful. Getting there is the downside: the roads are in terrible shape, and the accommodation is high up on a hill. It’s almost impossible to manage without a car.

The chalet is basic, but clean and organized, with what you need, and the place is quiet. The view is very pretty, and the host was attentive and quick to reply. Getting there is the one issue: the roads are steep and badly eroded. My car sits low, but we made it without trouble as long as we went very slowly.

My friend Henrique and I visited the chalet and were treated really well from the start. The wonderful nature there also surprised us. We hope to return soon, and are very grateful for how attentive, polite, and understanding the owners were with us. It’s an incredible place that many people should visit.
