Once you're at the Pousada, the poor parking makes you wonder, “Is this the place we booked?” But after checking in, you find a peaceful oasis. The owner Rodrigo and his wife Renata have made a welcoming place with clean, well-equipped rooms, plus lots to see in the dining room and leisure area: artistic paintings, a huge wall painting, photos taken by the owner, and statues. There's also a lovely garden and swimming pool. The place is built and decorated with sustainability in mind. Breakfast is served to each guest's preference to avoid wasting food. Each room is named after a beach and has a painting. One has a special touch when you turn on a black light switch. We enjoyed Ubatuba Ecologic Pousada and would certainly recommend this paradise in Ubatuba. One tip for the drive from São Paulo on BR101: don't follow the Waze or Google Maps route that sends you off the interstate onto a tiny road. Those bumpy unpaved streets will leave you upset and groggy before you even reach the Pousada. Take the next exit, a kilometer further on. Following the guide instructions still takes you over unpaved streets, but they're less harmful to you and your car.

We loved our stay at the pousada during New Year's week. It was our family of two adults and two children, ages 6 and 8. The room, bathroom, sheets, and towels were all very clean, and the air-conditioning worked really well. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Breakfast was great, with everything made fresh to order, like scrambled eggs, toasted bread, and tapioca.

The shared kitchen is well equipped, and the pousada's decor has its own special charm. I spent a week there and had a wonderful experience. The hosts Renata and Rodrigo are lovely, and Patrícia, who works at the pousada, keeps everything tidy for a perfect stay. I simply loved it, highly recommend it, and will definitely return.

The room was spacious, and they accept pets. The beach nearby isn't the best in Ubatuba. We stayed at this pousada for two nights, my husband and I, and we travel whenever we can. I like to leave comments to help other people. There is no sign with the pousada's name, so on arrival you're left a bit lost. They told me on WhatsApp that I could pay in 3 installments, but when I got there, senhora Renata said it would only be 2. Cars are parked on the street, with no garage spaces. There were so many mosquitoes in the room that I nearly went crazy on the first day, and we had to go out to buy repellent. Breakfast was disappointing and portions felt very limited, with few choices. The cassava cake was very hard. The cheese bread seemed rationed, like they only baked 3 at a time. When I went for a second cup, there was no more black coffee.
