Residencial Saint Barth

The apartment I got smelled of mold, and we paid a lot only to be treated like dogs. The building manager was rude and inhumane, and doesn’t like children. The pools and game room were the only things that saved the stay. There are much better places in Ubatuba for a lower price, with a much better welcome. This was the worst stay of my life. I gave it one star, but really it doesn’t deserve any.

Only go outside the busy season. The garage is like a maze, and most of the staff are very rude, though there are a few good exceptions. The worst part is the water. When the apartments are empty, everything seems fine, but when they fill up, water doesn’t reach the units. They blame Sabesp and say it isn’t sending water, but I think that’s a lie. It feels like someone is controlling the supply, closing valves and releasing water to some blocks or sometimes none. We paid a lot for our stay and ended up having to fill buckets from the only outdoor tap that had water, like fools. I’ve been going to Ubatuba for over 15 years, including Carnival, New Year’s, and holidays when the city is packed, and we’ve never run out of water before. Only at this supposedly excellent condominium. If you want to have a miserable time, this is just the place!

A relaxing place that’s great for families, with things for adults and kids to enjoy: a playground, outdoor and heated pools, a game room, sauna, and a party room with a barbecue and pizza oven. The downside is the parking garage. It’s very narrow and poorly marked, with little lighting and faint floor markings in small letters. My husband scraped the car, and you can see marks from other cars on several columns too.

The garage is chaos and needs a map. It’s tight, with my stepdaughter along, and the exit runs in the same direction. The apartment I stayed in, though, was good.
