Breakfast was disappointing, with very little variety and pão de queijo that was rock hard. When I checked out and listed the problems, they told me there was nothing they could do since I was leaving. At least I can leave feedback and let the next person thinking about booking know what happened. They couldn't find my reservation when I arrived, and I had to prove that I'd booked. My room had no phone to call reception. That became an issue when neither the TV nor the Wi-Fi worked. I went down to ask, and they said the technician couldn't check until the following day because it was night. The next morning the shower had no hot water, so I took a cold shower. Since I was only staying overnight, I didn't stop mid-shower and go downstairs to ask about it, especially as there was no phone in the room. The shower enclosure also had no lip to keep water in, and it flooded part of the bathroom.

I had to leave before breakfast hours, but they still put together a meal just for me. That thoughtful gesture made a real difference. The place is simple but welcoming, with an attentive, helpful team. My room was comfortable, and the shower was excellent.

Carlos at reception was very attentive, which was the highlight for me. The facilities were okay, but the room felt small for two guests, and breakfast was quite basic. They didn't replace my bath towel until my fourth day there. On Sunday, I got up at 8:15 and found almost nothing left to eat in the dining room.

The street itself has nothing around it. Some comments say everything is nearby, but that's true of the city in general, not this location. I've never stayed anywhere with conditions this strange and poor. I was put in a room like a tiny storage closet at the end of a corridor. There was barely space for a single bed, and my suitcase had to stay on the floor. I saw a cockroach in the corridor, so I didn't want to put my things down. The photos showed air conditioning, but my room only had a small fan. There was a hole in the wall that looked like it was meant for an air conditioner. The bathroom was nothing like the photos either. There was no shower enclosure, so water got everywhere, including into the room. There was no bidet shower, just a plugged hole where one should be. The mirror was low and badly positioned, so I couldn't see my face even though I'm of average height. There was only one towel, a bath towel. Reception told me I should have asked for more, which left me wondering whether anyone checks the rooms to make sure they're clean and properly equipped. The person at reception didn't know the Wi-Fi password and told me to look in the corridor, but I couldn't find it. I honestly don't understand how anyone was allowed to stay in a room in those hygienic and cleaning conditions. There ought to be a fine for that. I don't recommend this place.
