Refugio Xaxim

We were welcomed so warmly, and the place is beautiful and peaceful. The rooms were clean and tidy, and breakfast was generous. The corn cake was especially wonderful. Everything surprised me in the best way.

The best part for us was the owners' hospitality. Adriana and Anderson are such a friendly couple, and we had eight days of good conversations, tips, and information from them. We loved spending late afternoon in the garden with wine, watching the sun set over the mountains. Although the inn is next to the road, it’s quiet. We stayed in suite 5, which has a hydro tub, and it was very spacious, with an incredible mountain view and a huge, comfortable bed with quality sheets and duvet. The shower was lovely, and the room was cleaned and tidied daily. Breakfast was very good, especially the pão de queijo and guava pastry, both divine. I only missed having some white cheese, but that didn’t spoil our impression. The inn is a 15-minute drive from the center of Urubici. Well worth staying here.

We had a really nice time drinking wine by the fireplace and chatting. We also ordered capeletti soup in the evening to warm up, and it was wonderful. Between July 11 and 14, 25, the owners were very attentive, and the rooms were large and clean. It’s a peaceful place with a detail that really stands out. Thanks for the hospitality, Anderson and Adriana. We’ll be back, friends!

Breakfast deserves a special mention: there were so many fresh, delicious choices, and it was clear how much care went into making everything. Anderson and Adriana made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived, and they really work to make guests' stays warm and memorable. Hotel Hibisco is peaceful, comfortable, and immaculately kept. The staff were wonderful, and the location made it easy to explore the area. Thanks so much to Anderson and Adriana for looking after me. My stay from January 09 to 12 was better than I expected, and I’ll certainly come back if I get the chance. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place with thoughtful service and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you for everything!
