The manager handled everything well over the phone and was flexible about the nightly rates. She asked for a 50% deposit to hold the booking, and she kept her word, so I found her trustworthy. This is a small, basic new hotel that’s clean and well organized, with good value as a base for outings nearby. It doesn’t serve breakfast yet. For that, I’d suggest São Félix bakery close by.
The location works really well, close to the pier for boats to Morro de São Paulo. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the TV was in great shape. I asked for a coffee at midnight and the attendant kindly made one for me. Good value for the money.
The place was clean, quiet, and well located, and the electric shower worked well. The rest was disappointing: no parking or minibar, no breakfast, and no 24-hour reception. Service took a long time, and the TV only got three channels.
The inn is in a good spot by the Una River, near the bridge where the fast boat leaves. It was newly opened, with everything feeling fresh, and the price was fair. We had three lovely days, thanks in part to Senhor Manoel, the owner, and his daughter. They welcomed us warmly and shared plenty of tips for making the most of our weekend.
I stayed there from 2017 into 2018 and had a wonderful time. The room was clean and the service was really good, so now I want to come back. Do they have WhatsApp? I had the number but lost it. Thanks!
