I chose this place for one night because I was going to the club next door, and the location was ideal for that. The room cost 220 reais, but the hot tub tap ran rusty water, there were spiders by the headboard, and the curtains were dirty. The sheet had no elastic, so I ended up sleeping on the mattress plastic. At 7 a.m. the power went out, and the room got very hot without the air conditioning. I could accept an old building, but it should have been clean.

Good luck to anyone trying to book here for Carnival 2024. I asked for just two nights for two people, with breakfast only, which they said was included. From the photos, the nightly rate looked to be around 50 reais, and the reviews weren't very good either. But when I asked for a quote, they tried to sell me a three-night package I hadn't requested. The price they gave me for two nights was 1,350 reais for two people. Yes, that's 1,350 reais.

The room had air conditioning, a hot tub, and indoor parking, and the location was a big plus since Laroc and AME are close enough to walk to. We booked a three-day Carnival package with breakfast, lunch, and after-party food, and we really enjoyed it. Special thanks to Patrícia and Daniel for making us feel so welcome. I'd recommend it to people going to nearby events and hope to see them again at Carnival 2025.

When I complained about the facilities at checkout, the owner, Sr Dirceu, who was at reception, told me, "I'm not going to improve anything, I'm changing businesses and going to the beach." That was a pretty awful response. If you treat guests like that, changing businesses won't solve the problem; you need to change your attitude. The stay itself was the worst experience possible: the room smelled moldy, the sheets were old, it was dirty, and the whole place felt run-down and abandoned. I couldn't find anything positive about it.
