Hotel princesinha do cafe

One of the worst nights I've had in a hotel. I couldn't sleep because some people staying above our room seemed to be partying all night, talking, shouting, laughing loudly, dragging furniture, and jumping around. On top of that, a generator kept turning on. The hotel was awful.

We love Vassouras, so it was upsetting to have such an unpleasant stay at HOTEL PRINCESINHA DO CAFÉ. We had hoped for a nice visit, but it felt like a nightmare. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and my husband and I couldn't get a good night's sleep. The minibar was completely empty, without even a bottle of water, so my husband had to go downstairs and buy one. The sofa at reception was in unacceptably dirty condition, and we took photos. When we arrived, the toilet in our room was clogged. I had only used it to urinate, and I was the only one who had used it. An employee tried to fix it but couldn't. It made noises all night, so it was impossible to relax. We couldn't even use the bathroom properly during our stay 😔 We'd like the hotel management to pay more attention to upkeep and cleanliness, with weekly inspections, so guests can stay comfortably and safely. Then the hotel could be remembered well, in a way that lives up to Vassouras's beautiful history.

The breakfast was awful. It was served somewhere else and there wasn't much to choose from. The juice tasted like water with flavoring, and the cake seemed several days old.

The location really is great, and the staff member Aylon was especially attentive and helpful. My room was clean and had hot water, but there was no shower head, just a short pipe that sprayed water everywhere. Even trying to keep my hair dry was impossible. I thought it was ridiculous not to have a proper shower. The minibar was empty, and even water had to be requested at reception. It would be so easy to leave some there. Breakfast really bothered me. It was served at another hotel on the next street, in a little lean-to with a small tiled roof, facing a filthy pool that looked like a dengue mosquito breeding ground. The table was poorly set, with plastic utensils that looked dirty and everything just thrown onto it. The selection was basic, with only French bread. Simple can be nice when it's done well, but this was carelessly put together and disappointing. At least I was only there for one night.
