The rooms were comfortable, the setting was lovely, and we enjoyed the hike to the waterfall. Food was decent, the pool was nice, and service was acceptable. We held a family reunion here with more than 30 people, and most things went well. Still, seeing the animals on the run-down “farm” was upsetting. A beautiful peacock was kept in a cage so small it couldn’t spread its feathers, a cow looked so sad that I considered going vegetarian, and even my veterinarian cousin reached through the fence to check its vitals. The chickens were so crowded that I prayed for them to be released, and I’m an atheist. I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone who feels strongly about animal welfare. Calling it an “eco resort” doesn’t fit; it felt more like a modern place catering to people looking for a quick break from city life.

There was plenty to keep everyone busy, and the kids went wild. The pool area and views were beautiful, and the meals were great. It’s a fun place to relax, and I’ll probably come back. Some of the gym equipment needs repair.

We had a lovely weekend here with the family. The landscape is beautiful and the air feels very clean. The whole place was clean, including the pool, which was always in good shape. And the food was so good!

The rooms were good, and the place itself was very nice, but getting to Vassouras Eco Resort was really difficult because of the poor access road. The service could have been better too. There was a yellow scorpion in my room, and the person sent to remove it didn’t seem to know how and used a broom without any safety precautions.

A very peaceful, beautiful place with very good service. The food was wonderful, and the recreation staff were good too. Recommended for families and groups.
