4/10
The air conditioning worked well, but that was the only real plus. We were told on Booking.com that the room would be cleaned every day, but it wasn’t. The buffet looked very different from the photos and didn’t taste good. Our floor’s lights were off, which made it feel unpleasant, and the hotel itself was older and less appealing than the pictures suggested. I was very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was large, but dirty, noisy, and smelly. There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling from the room above, urine on the toilet seat when we arrived, and dirty sheets with hair and urine stains on the mattress underneath. The fridge was loud and had yellow stains inside. Street noise was so bad it felt like sleeping beside the busy road. I can’t understand its 4.1 Google rating. Stay away.

The restaurant staff were the one good part, they were friendly. The room, though, hadn’t been cleaned at all: the bed was unmade, both trash cans were full, used towels were left on the basin, and there was no soap or water. When I raised it with the front office, they seemed indifferent.

A top restaurant in Vitoria's downtow, with really good food and drinks.

Nice place, but the Wi-Fi doesn’t work. Breakfast was okay, nothing special.
