Hotel Prata

Modest.

There’s no breakfast, but that was the least of it. The bathroom wall by the shower was a little dirty. We stayed as a family and really liked the room, especially the good beds, cold air conditioning, and nice TV.

Whenever I come to town on business, this is where I try to stay. I like the location, the affordable price that fits a historic building’s facilities, and the service. Even when I’m only there for a few days, the rooms and service meet the hotel’s purpose just fine and feel appropriate for the nightly rate.

The man at the entrance was very helpful. We’d been turned away by a nearby hotel because we were two men, but he didn’t care about that and simply did his job. That’s why I recommend the place. I only needed somewhere affordable for one night with my partner, and the bed was fine. The location is good and there’s air conditioning. Light from the plaza came straight into the room, so darker curtains might help, but I still slept well.
