The beds were comfortable, and the shower was nice, but the room and bathroom were both cramped. There were signs of neglect everywhere: scratches on the doors, odd marks on the walls and ceiling, and a piece of ceramic tile came off the wall when I accidentally bumped into it. We also got a blanket that looked possibly more than ten years old, from when this was another hotel. The lobby looks much better than the rooms, and I also saw a “do job” looking for her customer there.

I’ve had much better stays at other Ibis Budget hotels. Here, the room wasn’t cleaned properly and the floor stayed dirty. The beds weren’t made securely, so we had to fix them ourselves or risk sliding around at night and ending up on the bare mattress. Each bed was just a four-inch mattress on a wooden board. The toilet was so tiny I could barely fit. At breakfast they served spoiled milk, which caused food poisoning.

For what you get, 80€ is far too much. This should be a 40€ room. The hotel is out of town, there’s no place to park, and the room is so tiny you can’t even open a suitcase. Everything has to go on the floor, and there’s no desk or chair.

The staff are great, and the location is handy, with a grocery store and pharmacies nearby. The main beach is a lovely 15-20 minute walk away. Rooms are small but functional, and breakfast is very good. I’d recommend this if you’re trying to save money while traveling, as long as you’re actually on a budget and aren’t expecting a five-star hotel.
