We felt at home at the beautiful Runaway Hill Inn, where the service was incredible from beginning to end. Ricquel, Kairiyah, Britney, Christmas, Jeff & Rita took such good care of us, always smiling and ready to help. They looked after us when we arrived, at breakfast, and throughout our time at the beach. We're so grateful for their wonderful hospitality.

Our last visit to Runaway Hill Inn lacked the warmth and attentiveness that had brought us back for years. A couple of staff interactions felt rude or indifferent, and people weren't especially welcoming. The bar hours were limited and inflexible too, which disappointed us compared with the more accommodating service at other island properties. We've stayed here many times and used to love the charm, location, service, and overall experience. We still appreciate the Inn's beauty and history, but our stay last week felt noticeably different from what we'd come to expect.

The beach and water here are unparalleled, and the food at the Inn was incredible. I travel often, and this has become my favourite place. My spacious room had a very comfortable bed and a gorgeous ocean-view patio with plenty of space to sit and enjoy a glass of wine before bed.

The private balcony off our upstairs room in the main house looked right out over the water, and the view was truly stunning. If you like a quiet, secluded stay with a great view, check it out.
