The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, with an oddly New Orleans feel, and a long cocktail and wine list. The menu itself is limited: only nine options, including two lobster dishes and one vegan choice. The sides were delicious, and my wife LOVED the white rice, her favourite part of the meal. Service was okay, though the staff seemed to have too many tables to give much attention. It's a classy place, but I think there are better restaurants on the island.

We think The Landing Restaurant is Harbour Island's best dining experience. We've eaten at nearly every restaurant on the island, and this one stands above the rest. The food is consistently excellent, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. There are indoor and outdoor seating options, and the patio has a lovely atmosphere for an evening meal. Service was professional and efficient, though not especially warm. Even so, the experience as a whole more than made up for it. If you're after the island's best meal, this is the place to go.

Miss Tina and her crew kept me well fed, and the Bahamian bread and coffee were outstanding. I couldn't get enough of the views from my room, and there's a great mocktail menu for a teetotaller like me. I stayed at the Landing a while ago on a solo trip to the Bahamas, treating myself to a few nights after hearing so much praise. They treated me like royalty from the moment I arrived. My room was ready early, and they squeezed me in for dinner, which is a real advantage when you're dining alone. It was the most luxurious break I've had in years. If I return to that part of the world, I'll be sure to check in again.

Came for dinner and enjoyed the tasty food and great service. The staff were friendly, and for once the wine list had affordable bottles.

The food was substandard too: chewy, overcooked lobster and spongy tuna with no flavor. We had three glasses of wine, paid a $320 check, and were out in an hour. By then, the place had only a dozen seats inside. Why not greet guests with the respect and kindness most people show on Harbour Island? The food was the worst, overpriced, and there was a mean bully at the front. Go somewhere else. We arrived 30 minutes early for our 6:30 reservation. The place was empty except for a couple at a two-top. The woman at the front gave us a nasty reception, no hello, just scorn. The staff seemed very afraid of her, and we felt put off. She sent us to a table on the roadside, back-to-back with a post, with the other couple's chair close by. I told the bus man we'd rather sit one table over. He looked afraid and had to get the nasty woman involved. While we waited, a privileged B ordered takeout for five minutes, and the iron NB didn't look at us or deal with us. Then she marched over and lectured us about being busy and having a system. It felt like a program of intimidation for both customers and staff. I told her she was nasty and shouldn't treat guests or staff that way. She backed down, and we sat where we wanted. I think she's a bit off. Why is this place in business?
