The food and drinks at The Bluff House were great, and the waiters and staff were lovely and helpful. Our group of five stayed in the Blue Bay cottage, where everyone had a king bed and their own bathroom. It was also close to everything on the property. We loved Green Turtle and would happily return, though next time I’d probably book a single room instead of a cottage. We didn’t get any cleaning service during our stay, from Sunday evening through Saturday morning. We kept expecting it after our excursions, but it never came. Midweek, we bought detergent in town and washed our own sheets and towels. Two bathrooms ran out of toilet paper; we’d brought a couple of rolls from home, and The Bluff House brought more on Friday, near the end of our stay. There were ants in the kitchen, and no dishwasher pods or dish soap, so we bought soap in town and washed everything by hand. That made it hard to get much use out of the kitchen. A friend staying in a single room said he got cleaning service almost every day, so I’m not sure if the cottages are treated differently. If the kitchen’s hard to use, the main advantage of the cottage is having a big group together. One other small quirk: the cottage door had no outside handle. If it shut while we were on the porch, we had to go around to the side door to get back in. We laughed about it each time. I’d stay at The Bluff House again, but a single room would make a longer visit easier.

The sunset views from rooms 22 and 23 were spectacular. My husband and I were traveling with another couple, and we loved that the upstairs balconies connected. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. The beach was lovely, with plenty of chairs, picnic tables, hammocks, and shady spots. We also really enjoyed the food at both the beach bar and the restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the resort service was outstanding. It was our first Bahamas trip, and Green Turtle Cay turned out to be a great choice. Bluff House felt like the best place on the island to stay, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting GTC.

The marina on one side and the beach on the other gave us plenty of ways to spend our time at Bluff House. We went out fishing and lobstering, explored the island, and spent a day at Tranquil Turtle Beach looking for sand dollars. The in-water swing was a favorite. During my first visit to Green Turtle Cay, we stayed at Bluff House Resort over New Year’s Eve. Our balcony in room 22 had wonderful views, and we watched both sunrises and sunsets each day. We also had great meals at the Boat House and Tranquil Turtle. The food and drinks were consistently fresh, delicious, and well prepared. The place made it easy to slow down and take in the ocean and the island’s natural beauty. It has a relaxed island feel along with plenty of convenience, and the stay has stuck with us. We’re already looking forward to going back.

We stayed in a large house with four separate upstairs bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Downstairs, there was a full kitchen with a beautiful wooden table and benches. Our favorite part was sitting on the long screened porch each evening. The high chairs were really comfortable, and we watched the ocean sunset and a sky full of stars. The staff at Bluff House were gracious and attentive, from Molly, Chamon, Erica, Amber to everyone else. We didn’t want to leave.

We saw the island by golf cart and loved its beautiful beaches and blue ocean. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Bluff House, with a great ocean view from our house and amazing food. Go check out this resort!
