Silk Cotton Villas

The room was huge and well kept, with a decent kitchenette and a super-comfy bed. The breakfasts were tasty, the cocktails were good, and we found the wings totally addictive. Staff were friendly and ready to help. It's quiet when you want it, but the bar has a fun atmosphere on weekends and theme nights. The gardens feel like a jungle oasis, and the pool area is gorgeous. There's a vegetable plot out back and well-cared-for chickens that provide fresh eggs. The gym is well equipped, and I heard a paddle court is coming soon. Bring mosquito spray. Getting around on foot isn't ideal. Restaurants other than the ones on site are about a 15-minute brisk walk, shops around 10 minutes, and the nearest beach 7-8 minutes away, though it isn't a standout Caribbean beach. Silk Cotton Shuttle helps make up for that, with the cheapest prices on the island and drop-offs anywhere, usually on short notice. I'd skip Atlantis, save the money, and enjoy Bahamian hospitality and good accommodation.

Villa 7, the three-bedroom villa, was spacious and tidy, and the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. The pool and Jacuzzi, restaurant, and gym were all close by. I loved the atmosphere. It felt serene and chilled, never hollow, and the staff were helpful, polite, down-to-earth, and professional.

The food and drinks were incredible, and the guest services, cleaning, and maintenance teams were great. I'd highly recommend staying here. My wife is already planning our return.

The studio was well equipped and had a comfy bed. The local restaurant was convenient and served great food, and the staff were cheerful, friendly, and very helpful. It’s a gated villa complex with lovely gardens, swimming pools, and a relaxing feel. Shops and the local beach are within walking distance. Highly recommended.
