The beach was so beautiful when we got there after getting off Carnival Sensation. Our cab driver told us a lot of rich island history on the ride, and he was worth every bit of the tip we could give him. I just wish we'd had more time to look around and try the island fruit. It's a public beach, and the cost was very affordable. Everything felt incredible, and the people of the Ritz were awesome. Can't wait to visit again. Much love, Stanley

We paid $14 for a round-trip taxi after leaving the ship, then got into the private beach for $6. That included kayaks, paddle boards, lounge chairs, and clean bathrooms. There was also a beachfront bar and grill, local vendors, and attendants and waiters by the beach. It's Junkanoo Beach Club now, and this worked out a lot cheaper than the cruise ship excursion, which was $79.99 per adult and $59.99 per child. A+.

It was alright while the cruise ship was in, but they shut down as soon as it left. That made it feel like the people on the island didn't matter to them. Getting a drink was difficult, and it was almost a waste of our time until we walked along the beach and found a few other places.

The water was warm and the view was great. There was a little trash on the beach, not much, but seeing employees sitting around doing nothing made me wonder what else was being overlooked.

People have a terrible time finding this place because the coordinates show up as The Ritz Carlton. It's actually the Junkanoo Beach Club, and there is no Ritz Carlton in Freeport Bahamas.
