The restaurant staff, especially the women, were welcoming and looked after guests well. I’ve stayed here twice, and the food has been amazing, the best I’ve had in Bhutan. The rooms are the weak point: they’re old and could use some maintenance.

I felt comfortable and at home here as an Indian traveller. The atmosphere is peaceful, the rooms are clean, and the staff are very polite. The food was tasty too. Gadhen Hotel made for a lovely stay in Bhutan, and I’d recommend it to other visitors.

Getting to the market and other areas is easy from here. The atmosphere was neat and friendly, the food was great, and the staff were kind and honest. Had a fantastic stay.

The staff were rude when I raised problems and asked about my order. The food served here wasn’t fresh, and they didn’t seem to care about the order details even after I told them. The room and washroom hygiene also weren’t maintained. Staff need to learn to treat people respectfully.
