Hotel Bhutan Ga Me Ga

This is a three star hotel, and the suite is really nice. It’s also well placed near the Bhutan entry gate at Phuentsholing, with several eateries and shops close by. There’s plenty of shopping to do around there.

On Dec 9 2025, we were moved to room 404 after the first room’s bathroom had no hot water and we couldn’t shower. Before that, we complained for two hours. Housekeeping came four times but couldn’t resolve it, and we were told no senior staff were available to escalate the issue to. The receptionist suggested we use another room’s shower and then return to the faulty room, which we refused. The only lift is slow and gets overloaded.

I enjoyed staying here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff warm and friendly, and there was a good spread at meals and breakfast. It’s right across the pedestrian crossing from India.

I was here 15 days ago and was satisfied with the service. The location is close to the Immigration office and main market, and I felt it was safe. The restaurant served fresh, hot food, especially Indian dishes. Our room was generally clean and spacious, and suited our family with children. Staff were friendly and helpful, including with travel planning and advice.
