The food at VISTA was a real surprise. I had a delicious Indian dish, and with plenty of vegetarian choices I could pick something different each day. I also tried locally grown potatoes, and even the simplest preparation tasted good. Making and coloring my own stupa at the hotel's stupa-making experience felt truly blessed. The room decor brings in the Phobjikha Valley and its black-necked cranes, and waking to that view was peaceful. A flower placed on top of my laundry box was such a cute touch, and the daily turndown gifts shared Bhutanese culture in a lovely way. The staff took care of everything, making my stay seamless and wonderful. Taj Gangtey was a real highlight of my Bhutan trip, and I'd highly recommend staying there.

A calm, beautiful view of the valley, outdoor spots with bonfires and shawls to keep you warm, and delicious meals made this a wonderful stay. We tried the set menu one night and Thai à la carte another day. The luxury comes with warmth and personal touches, too. Every staff member greeted us with a big smile and was keen to help. Highly recommend staying here to enjoy the valley.

We had a seamless, delightful stay at Taj Gangtey Resort & Spa during our March trip to Bhutan. The restaurant team were warm, knowledgeable, and attentive, and every meal was excellent. The rooms have stunning valley views and thoughtful Bhutanese details, while the resort's design blends traditional Bhutanese architecture with elegance and authenticity. It's beautifully situated in the breathtaking Phobjikha Valley, despite having opened only a few months ago. A special thanks to Agraj (General Manager), Arun (Restaurant Manager), our butlers Sonam and Tandin, Chef Kapil for the delicious food, and Bhima for decorating the bar so beautifully for our friend's 50th birthday. That made the occasion truly special. From arrival onward, the team handled every detail with great care and professionalism. I look forward to coming back.

The property was beautiful and peaceful, though some amenities weren't available yet. The food was outstanding: every meal was flavorful, carefully prepared, and nicely presented, with quality ingredients and plenty of variety. We felt at home from the moment we arrived, thanks to the team's genuine warmth and kindness. Everyone went above and beyond, handling details discreetly and professionally. The constant smiles, thoughtful gestures, and gifts throughout the stay made a real difference. It's rare to find such heartfelt, authentic service.
