We stayed at Nak Sel Resort in Paro with my parents from 16 to 20 October 2025. What made the biggest difference was how personally and warmly the staff looked after us, especially my parents. Each interaction felt caring rather than transactional, and several team members went above and beyond: Ugyen Thinley, Gyendup Lepcha, Tshering Wangmo, Neten Dema, Leki Zagmo, Sunil Subba, Chakpa Tshering Singer, Sangeeta Rai, and Kuenzang Pelelen. They were professional, kind, and attentive to detail throughout our stay. The resort itself was beautiful, with peaceful panoramic views that felt quintessentially Bhutanese. The food was consistently excellent, thoughtfully prepared and well presented. Our rooms, the spa, and the other amenities were all to a high standard and made us very comfortable. We left with wonderful memories and deep appreciation. Nak Sel is a beautiful resort run by people who understand hospitality, and I would gladly return and recommend it to families visiting Paro.

I can't put into words how much I loved this place. The setting is majestic, the people are incredibly kind, and the food was probably the best I've had in a while. Our mountain-facing room gave us a spectacular view of mount Jomolhari, and it felt warm and welcoming, just like the staff. The hotel had lots to offer. We tried archery with help from the kind staff and spent time in the cozy library. I was amazed by how they sourced such good ingredients so high in the mountains and turned them into memorable dishes. Major credit to the chefs. My biggest regret is staying just two nights. I'll definitely stay longer next time I visit bhutan!

The pool was relaxing and had a great view, and the restaurant's Indian food was nice. The hotel itself has amazing views and the service was great. Friendly staff spoke English very well and made the experience one of a kind. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Dinner and breakfast had a great spread, and the room was spacious and very well maintained. The hotel was spotless. The only small downside was the bumpy road leading up to the property. It was a memorable stay, and the staff were great.
