The staff were super friendly and helped with all our questions. I stayed here at the start of my Bhutan trip, and the room was spacious. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the main market and immigration centre, which made the location really convenient.

The view and location are the only good things here. The rooms were filthy, with random stains and bedbugs, and the AC looked as if it might explode if you complained. Staff were rude and defended the stains by saying they couldn’t be removed after scrubbing. I slept completely covered to avoid the bedbugs, but still got bitten. The balcony was tilted and looked like it could break and fall at any time, making headlines in a Bhutanese newspaper. Whether you stay here on arrival or before leaving Bhutan, it’s a frustrating letdown. Avoid it, it’s a health hazard and a real buzzkill.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our way back from Bhutan. The vegetarian meal was excellent, and we enjoyed it very much.

The location is good, right next to the immigration office. It seems like a slightly older place, and they provide an extra bed for an additional cost. We stayed just one night, the food was good, and thanks for hosting our group.

Worst stay ever. There was no water, the room wasn’t clean, service was very bad, and the lift wasn’t working.
