The rooms were roomy and comfortable, with seating on the window ledge, and there was a swing in the garden. From our room we could watch both sunrise and sunset, and the staff were cooperative. The organic produce grown on the property was wonderfully fresh, and one night's green salad was especially good. But the meals disappointed us: even the Indian food they tried to make for us lacked salt. There were many European guests staying then, which may have had something to do with the food. No Bhutanese dishes were offered, not even Suja. It left us with a mixed stay. I would have given it 3.5 if I could.

(October 2017) The valley views were good, and the rooms were large. Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby. There was a ceiling fan but no air conditioning, and the food was below average. Watch out for spiders crawling on the bed.

We barely had time to enjoy the place because our schedule was so packed. I would have liked longer to sit in the garden, have coffee, and look at the mountains. The grounds are lovely and well kept, and the rooms and bathrooms are huge, clean, and in good shape. I caught a gorgeous sunrise early in the morning. The food was nice, though they could offer more variety and cater to different people.

Wi-Fi in my room was too weak, though it worked well enough at reception. The restaurant served tasty food, and the staff were very helpful. My double room was wonderfully spacious, with plenty of hot water for a shower, and its hillside position gave it great views.

I had a great stay, and I liked the food too. As a Bhutanese person, I enjoy spicy food. There is also a cafe right by the highway at the resort entrance, and as far as I know it's the only cafe around there.
