All the cabins have great views over the savuti plains, and the lodge itself is beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to meet my accommodation request. Food, service, and guides were top notch. I had an excellent stay at Ghoha Hills and highly recommend it for a safari.

The location and lodge itself are nice, but the service wasn’t what we expected for the money. We booked a two-room family suite, then on arrival were told other people had booked it. Their solution was two separate beds in one room, plus a complimentary massage for one person only. They didn’t even mention moving us to a second cottage, although all of those were empty at the time. The check-in humiliation continued over lunch. We hadn’t finished our drinks when the waiter told us to go to the manager because “manager is waiting for you”. Why couldn’t the manager come to our table and explain things there? There doesn’t seem to be any communication with staff, no WhatsApp groups despite the WiFi, or even walkie-talkies. Be prepared to go to reception every time you need something, even water that should have been in the room. The food was edible, but not what you’d expect. Very poor service, I wouldn’t recommend it.

What stays with me most is how much the people at Ghoha Hills got to us. We were in tears when it was time to leave, and I really hope we can come back. Allen was our guide, warm and enthusiastic about wildlife, and he taught us a lot. The choir was our favorite of the camps we visited too. Their singing brought me to tears. The camp itself is beautiful, perched on a red clay hill with views over the plains. Our clean, comfortable room looked out over a water hole, lovely for sunsets and watching animals. The food was the best of all the camps we visited. Chef Hope did a wonderful job.

Our game drives with Ran were a real highlight. He was warm, thorough, and knew so much about the wildlife. We saw wild dogs, lions, ellies, and plenty of other animals. We were glad to have him as our guide. The lodge sits high on ghoha hill, with wide views of the plains and a water hole from the main area. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and my wife and our two daughters loved the pool and the scenery. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented, thanks to chef Hope, Tt and MD. Mr Edwin and the rest of the staff made us feel welcome throughout. Ghoha Hills savuti lodge has breathtaking scenery. Kudos and bravo, ghoha hills 👏

Kennedy knew the area well and took us to some lovely spots where we saw animals. The staff at Ghoha Hills were so kind and welcoming, with a great sense of humor too. My partner and I had an incredible stay in Botswana. Thanks for making it unforgettable!
