The staff were lovely, and the place itself was lovely too. My room was big and always clean, and I really enjoyed the English breakfast they served. I held back on five stars because there’s no bar or comfortable lounge. I’m not sure about the pool, since it was freezing.

I loved the bed, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s easy to get to, close to amenities, and in one of the cleanest and safest parts of Gaborone. I think I’ll come back.

Hana Guesthouse is a peaceful place to stay in the city, with spacious, luxurious rooms and good parking. Riverwalk and the University of Botswana are both about a three-minute drive away. The food is good, the Wi-Fi is free, and that’s the icing on the cake. Love is the jelly in your custard.
