Peter's Place

I booked this lovely place for friends visiting from abroad because it was close to my house. The rooms are beautifully designed, with a modern feel that’s still connected to nature, plus plenty of privacy. The owner and staff were some of the friendliest people I’d met, and they helped us with many things and were very understanding. I found the rooms much better than even the grand palm. From now on, this is the only place I’d stay or book in gabz.

The garden is beautifully kept, and the room was spacious and clean, with quality linen. The price is competitive. Breakfast could be better in quality and variety for P75. They could add yoghurt and fruit, offer light meals on request, and have basic refreshments available. Face cloths and bottled water would be nice when rooms are turned over or refreshed.

The rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated, and there’s a great garden too. Such a guest-friendly place. Thanks, Catherine and Peter. You’re a wonderful team. Greetings from Namibia ❤️

We were a group of 20 and arrived at Peter's place late at night on December 14, 2018, after long queues at the border. Peter and his wife waited for us and gave us such a warm welcome. That night we sat and relaxed with them until late, going to bed after 1 a.m. It was so nice to receive such wonderful treatment in another country. The staff were friendly and the service was great. Peter, we’ll be back. Thank you so much.
