We only stayed one night in a tent at this place, listed as bananyana on hostel world. It's basic and could use some work, though it did the job. The beds were comfortable, there were enough blankets to stay warm, the Wi-Fi worked, and the showers had hot water. They said we could use the kitchen, but we didn't. You'll need a short ride to town, though it isn't far or expensive. What really stuck with me was the man running the place. He tried hard to make sure we had what we needed. Before we went out, he sent someone to get change for us, but it was taking a while. Rather than make us wait, he offered to give us 100 back, which would have cut the cost of our stay by almost half. We said no, but it was such a kind gesture and totally unexpected. That's why I wanted to send some love to a good man.

A very friendly, pleasant family seems to run the place, but the lodge is badly worn. The bedding was clean, though the rooms have taken a beating, and the toilets were broken and wouldn't flush. The pool was filthy and awful. It could also use a proper place to gather and eat. Flowertown, where it's located, is about 4 to 5 km from the main part of Kasane. It was probably decent once, but without basic maintenance, I wouldn't recommend it.

The owner was helpful with everything, and I really enjoyed my stay at Bananyana. We joined him and a bunch of friends for a goat dinner at the Backpack, which was a great time. You can find what you need there and book game drives in Chobe too. The drives were wonderful.

It's a nice place, but quite simple. The beds weren't very comfortable, though the staff were lovely and helpful, and liked hanging out with everyone. Sometimes we ate together and shared our food. I'd recommend staying here if you're not looking for much luxury. If you are, an expensive lodge would suit you better.

The place looked really nice, but our stay was only all right. The kitchen was quite dirty, with unwashed dishes left lying around, and there were no hot showers. Things felt a bit unprofessional, and we kept having to wait for our activities.
