We've stopped here for an aperitif several times, and came for dinner this visit. The waterhole is incredible for watching animals. In only a few hours we saw hyenas, elephants and giraffes, and the location itself is amazing. The staff are lovely and the dinner was done really well. The menu is small, but the quality compares well with other luxury lodges. We'll definitely return.

We watched herds of elephants going to and from the river, and the boat trip brought us close to crocodiles, hippos and elephants. After dark we spotted hyenas, and there was a leopard at night too. The lodge is about 25 minutes from the Chobe NP entrance, with a watering hole that giraffes visit every day. The game drives were amazing and the food was fabulous. What a place.

We had very tasty food with a good amount of variety, and the service was outstanding, especially from our guide David. This is a lovely bush retreat near Chobe National Park, tucked among tall trees and overlooking a waterhole. The safari tents were comfortable and nicely spaced apart.

The lodge's setting over the waterhole is stunning, and it drew 30 elephants, along with kudu and impala. Meals were in a beautiful spot too. The glamping was luxurious, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

We loved watching so many animals come to the watering hole right in front of the lodge. The rooms were clean and lovely, the food was excellent, and the staff were warm and helpful. Our safari guide David was fantastic, knowledgeable and professional. With his help we found four of the big five in Chobe National Park. Elephant Valley Lodge exceeded all our expectations.
