A good fit if you’re fine staying in the middle of town.

The reception staff were pleasant, but the place felt poorly maintained. There were insects, the sheets were stained, and there was no elevator or hairdryer. I’d put it at one or two stars, certainly not three.

It’s noisy enough that you can hear people walking to their rooms and showering. The staircase is steep, with no alternative, which raises the question of what disabled guests are supposed to do. Carrying heavy luggage up those stairs is pathetic. I also don’t think there’s secure parking for guests.

Clean and good enough for an overnight stop to recharge. It’s right in the business district, and the weekend rate is half the price.

Centre Lodge was handy for our stay, and the receptionist was really friendly. They lent us a plug so we could charge our phones. The towels were in pretty bad shape, a reminder that I should always pack my little travel towel. There was no hot water.
