Looking back through my Africa photos from 2016 reminded me how amazing Kadizora was. It was one of the main highlights of our trip, and I wish we'd stayed another week. Sorry I didn't write a review at the time.

The game drives with OC were phenomenal, and we could literally hear lions roaring from our bed. We loved the stay and would easily recommend the place. Thanks for a great time! A few lodge details were frustrating for the price. When rain threatened, we weren't able to dine or have lunch just with our own party, which we didn't appreciate. Our sheets were torn and dirty, and the shampoo pump didn't work. We asked twice for a replacement and never got one. These are small things, but at that price they should be fixed promptly. Great drives and amazing wildlife, though there's room to improve.

The animals at Kadizora were amazing. We'd been to Chobe beforehand, but saw a greater variety here. As a first-time safari-goer, it was exactly what I'd imagined, and I'd definitely return. Our large group had a great three-night stay. The camp was good, the staff worked hard, and the food was plentiful and tasty. I liked that guests were encouraged to socialize in the communal area and around the fire pit. We met people from around the world. Managers Matthew and Aiden were great. Our party had two guides. Sparks was personable and friendly, though I preferred the other guide. There was more of a language barrier with Sparks, and sometimes he couldn't understand our questions, so we gave up asking. He also didn't seem to spot as much, and we often noticed animals first. Technique was just as friendly but had much better eyes and tracking skills. He even spent about three hours between drives searching for a phone that had fallen from one of our party's pockets, and found it. We'd been warned that lost items are hard to find in the bush, so that effort showed the dedication of Tech and the camp.

We had such a good week at Kadizora in November 2024. The room was upgraded because it was available, and we loved the view over the Delta. The staff and food were wonderful, and our guide Sparks was knowledgeable, informative, and fun to spend time with. He went out of his way to find the animals we wanted to see. We followed wild dogs on several occasions and went looking for leopards. We also enjoyed visiting the local village and school, as well as the mokoro canoe ride. The camp felt remote and exclusive in a good way, and the price was great for the Okavango. We'd highly recommend it and the Okavango in general. So glad we went, and we can't wait to return. Thanks to everyone for making it our best holiday.

You can hear lions and hippos from the tents, and we saw lions, cheetahs, and elephants. OC was the most knowledgeable guide we've ever had. The food was outstanding, especially the bread and pastries. You need a small plane to reach the camp, but it has everything for a wonderful safari, including WiFi in the common areas. Highly recommend it.
