The game drives were outstanding. We visited in the wet season and were very lucky, thanks to guides and trackers Jonah and Timmy, who went above and beyond. After hours of exciting tracking, we found lions and leopards as promised. My family and I spent five days at Mokete Camp and thoroughly enjoyed it. The new camp is very well maintained, and the staff and management were genuinely friendly, attentive, and consistently positive. The wilderness setting for the tents was beautiful. There were some insects inside, as you'd expect in a natural reserve, though better sealing around openings could make things more comfortable. The opening over the bed also felt slightly out of place. An unforgettable, authentic Botswana safari that I'd highly recommend.

We saw a buffalo hunted and killed by the local pride of lions, with their cubs joining afterward. The herds were the largest we'd ever seen, and there were plenty of plains animals, including tsesebe, wildebeest, impala, zebra, and elephants. This camp stands on its own in an isolated part of Botswana, where huge buffalo herds roam open grasslands. The camp is lovely, with well-appointed rooms and excellent staff. I'd definitely include it in a Botswana safari.

Everyone was so kind and attentive, especially Tumo, Beauty, Antony, Tabo, Jonah, Mia, and Rhodeen. The staff helped us handle unforeseen medical needs in town, and we couldn't have asked for a better safari stay at Wilderness Mokete. Thank you!
