Koro Island Camp feels wonderfully peaceful and private, with the island location giving you a front-row view of the Botswana bush. Crossing the suspension bridge to reach it already feels like the start of an adventure. The staff were attentive and friendly, and their care for the environment came through clearly. Even so far from everything, the food was fresh, creative and expertly prepared. It's a rare treat to stay in a camp this pristine and well managed. I'd recommend it to nature lovers.

The staff made our stay relaxed and comfortable, from the guide and cook to the manager and everyone else. The cook took our dietary preferences into account and every meal was delicious. Koro Island Camp sits on an island, with a private terrace at our luxury tent right on the Limpopo. That setting made it one of the most memorable stops on our month-long tour of Limpopo and Tuli in Botswana. A special place in a unique location, and one we can wholeheartedly recommend.
