Chisto Hotel

The children's center was a real hit with my daughter. She played there for three hours, and we could sit comfortably nearby and watch. It’s spacious, has its own restaurant, and is air-conditioned. We also loved the restaurant's wooden interior, which felt like a palace from the 16th century. I had a freshly brewed dark beer with the music playing in the background. Our room was cozy and country-style despite being in the city, and very clean. The air-conditioning was especially welcome during the Belarusian heat, when it reached 38 degrees Celsius in the sun. The bathroom had a separate walled shower with both a fixed head and a handheld one, and the hot and cold water came out with strong pressure. Breakfast was included, freshly made, and delicious, and the price was reasonable. The hotel is easy to get to and sits in a quiet neighborhood without traffic noise. I've stayed in more than 200 hotels across over 20 countries, and Chisto is among the best. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay.

We were there in November, when it had already turned really cold outside, but the room stayed wonderfully warm thanks to the underfloor heating. It was modern, spacious, clean, and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s also a handy bar and restaurants on site. My first visit to Gomel, and Chisto Hotel made us feel very welcome.

The lack of an elevator made the climb to the fourth floor a bit of a nuisance. Still, the restaurant next door more than made up for it with good food and beer, plus live bands playing music. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

For the quality, the prices are good, and I wouldn't choose anywhere else in Gomel. The single room was roomy, warm, and very comfortable, with a surprisingly large shower. The receptionists speak English, so communicating was easy, and the hotel has lots of amenities with a nice restaurant beside it. One thing to fix: the mirror lights in the toilets weren't working in any of the rooms. Also, people got very loud and rough during sex at night on the weekend. You could hear them fu*king. Still, this is the best hotel I've stayed at in Gomel.
