Having water come through the ceiling in the middle of the night was the memorable part of this stay. The best I could get was an apology in the morning. Keep talking and maybe they’ll offer a free coffee, then possibly a partial refund, but they had no cash to give back, so since I’d paid cash I had to wait. The hotel is a long way from the center and feels pretty Soviet, though it has had some renovation and is more or less okay by local three-star standards. Next time I’ll choose somewhere central.

The WiFi worked great, and the food was okay. The rooms felt like they were from the West about 30 years ago.

The service was bad, the food was very bad, and both the rooms and bathroom were bad.

Nothing complicated here, just a basic hotel with low prices.

It has that Soviet Union feel.
