The wedding itself went smoothly, and on the day I didn't spot any problems because the organizer handled everything. The house and its setting are really lovely, and the photos and video came out beautifully. But the service left a sour impression. This was a few years back. I wondered if anything had improved, then read recent reviews because I wanted to share the place with friends. It seems the same issues are still there. The morning after, only our parents and one other family had stayed in the chalet. They wanted to use the bathhouse or sauna, whichever one was available, but the hostess sent them away as though they'd just slept there for free. She shouted at them, first about there being no water, then about the time and other things. Checkout was noon, so from 8 a.m. they could have stayed and rested longer. They were also told there was no food or drink left, and the hostess was very rude. You'd think paying guests could expect some consideration, but that wasn't our experience.

The place looks lovely, but I came away with bad memories. At the end of our party, they said we'd broken two glasses. We asked the few guests who were there, and nobody had broken any. The hostess then said one glass had been broken by the waitress, so why was that being charged to us? Nobody showed us the glasses, and no one had checked them with us at the start, so we had no idea how many there were supposed to be. We were told they were crystal brought from Germany, and the charge was 60 rubles for the pair. They even tried to collect that amount twice, first from the parents and then from the groom. Be careful if you leave expensive alcohol there for safekeeping overnight. Three bottles of Moet champagne, not the boxes, were missing some of their contents. Right after the wedding, we saw it in a story posted by a friend of the hostess. What a coincidence. It's a beautiful venue, but keep an eye on the staff, especially the hostess.

The grounds are kept up nicely, and parking is convenient. It's a pleasant spot, best suited to a group of around 10-20 people. There are limits on noise outside, though management may be willing to discuss them.

There's a lot to like for events of different sizes, though the owners do ask guests to keep the noise down. I'm not sure I'd count that as a drawback. Getting there is the harder part: nearly a kilometer has no asphalt and is full of potholes, and the road from Minsk is narrow and winding, so the drive isn't quick.
