Usad'ba Kamelot Guest House

I was there for 20 days and liked everything. The rooms were clean, the food was tasty, and the grounds were well cared for. When the weather turned cold, they checked whether my room felt chilly and switched on the heating. There's a forest nearby for walks and fresh air. It wasn't pool season yet, but I can picture how nice it would be in summer. The owner was warm and friendly, and always ready to help if I needed anything. Thank you for the time I spent at Camelot.

We were only passing through and stayed from 5:00 PM until 9:00 AM with our two children. The charge was 120 euros: 80 for the room and 40 for dinner and breakfast. We had told him ahead of time that we'd leave at 9:00 AM. Dinner was fine, but breakfast never arrived. The room was dirty and felt more like a dacha. It was very cold when we checked in; the owner turned on the heating and it warmed up. As we were leaving, we called him. He came over, returned 5 euros, and offered us breakfast, but by then we were already running very late.

The rules kept piling up, and new charges kept appearing. The owner wouldn't give us a copy of the contract and was constantly watching us and telling us what we couldn't do. No jumping in the pool, no swimming after 8:00 PM, music inside had to be turned down at 9:20 PM, and outside music wasn't allowed at all. After 11:00 PM, no noise. We couldn't bring food into our room, sit and eat in one spot, or even move a step to either side. None of this was explained at first. We only found out during the party, which felt awful, like the owner was doing everything possible to spoil it. The bathhouse pool was small and freezing cold, even when you were under the influence. We still managed to have fun, and that was the only thing that saved the day. If you just want a quiet stay, maybe it'll suit you. For a fun party, absolutely not. It isn't worth the cost or the stress.

We stayed there last week, renting the mansion and banya for eight people. Everything was tidy and clean, and the house had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The steam room stayed hot, with gentle steam that didn't burn. The owner said it was a white banya. We liked grilling in the gazebo and asked them to light the fireplace in the lounge. The pool after the steam room was fire! I did have to look closely to make out the painting. All in all, a great place to relax.
