I had surgery in the outpatient surgery department, where the staff were friendly and genuinely caring. My 85-year-old mother, Rodno-Khoruzova Irina Petrovna, had a successful operation with Akinfeev Oleg Vladimirovich. By the third day she was confidently walking around the department and had no pain or discomfort. I’m very grateful to him, and to Komko Yana Anatolyevna for her kindness, attention, and for giving us hope that treatment would go well. The anesthesiologist, whose name I unfortunately didn’t remember, was a very pleasant young man who knew his work. He prepared my mother carefully and did an effective job during and after the operation. The nurses and aides were responsible, carried out their duties impeccably, and supported us. I want to thank Dolomanova Elena Veniaminovna, head of the department, for bringing together such talented, responsible doctors, and for organizing the medical staff so well. The whole team created a reassuring atmosphere and gave us confidence in the treatment. This kind of patient-focused care seems to be the norm in the department. I hope all our healthcare can be just as patient-centered. I’d be grateful if the work of the onco-gynecology department staff were properly recognized and rewarded.
