40 Let Pobedy Hotel

I was there for 13 nights, and check-in was quick and easy. I speak Russian/Belarusian, so there was no problem, though I'm not sure whether they speak English. The reception staff were very helpful. My room was clean and had everything I needed, even if it wasn't fancy. I paid the lowest price, and it was probably the first room in a long time where I didn't notice a secondhand smoke smell. The hotel is right in the city centre, within walking distance of everywhere downtown. There's a nice park, a grocery store, and the city river nearby. I couldn't be happier with my stay. Next time I'm in Minsk, I'll stay here again. Highly recommended.

I came back for a second stay in November 2020 and wouldn't think of looking elsewhere. The staff are friendly and down to earth. My room wasn't fancy, but it was clean. The bathroom sink area felt tiny, almost as if the room were meant for children, though everything else was quite livable. For the price, you get a safe, quiet stay in a premium location, with Wi-Fi and a small cafe for a quick lunch. There's a good restaurant around the corner, the central park is five minutes away, and the subway is a ten-minute walk. Everywhere downtown is walkable. If you plan to spend your vacation days inside a hotel, you might want more luxury, though I can't imagine spending the whole day at one. This place suits my needs.

Good for a short stay, with renovated, nice rooms and the option of breakfast. The city centre is an easy walk away. I did get bitten by some bugs there.

I really enjoyed staying here. The old-style hotel gives you a sense of the communist era and the Soviet Union. Breakfast was just a bit too small.
