We came home with tournament medals and lots of vivid memories, and we’re already looking forward to coming back ❤️. Our group of 19, including 17 children, stayed at the Estate in March 2025 while competing at the Staiki Sports Complex. Being so close was a real help. Vyacheslav suggested we arrange a temporary pass through the checkpoint with the sports complex administration, which made getting around much easier. The house is clean, cozy, and beautiful, with unusual architecture and a distinctive interior. There’s lots of light and room, and the wooden rooms are decorated with handmade pieces and old household items. You can feel the care in the craftsmanship. The indoor temperature was comfortable, and we could air out the rooms or turn on extra heat as needed. The grounds have a large yard where the children could run freely, plus a barbecue area, benches, and a gazebo. The snow had only just melted in early spring, so we imagine the flowerbeds and greenery are lovely in summer. The snails were still dormant, so we missed the snail farm this time. We’ll be back to see the gastropods. Vyacheslav was attentive and easy to reach from our very first call. He answered questions about things on and off the Estate and quickly offered practical solutions. On arrival, we had a delicious breakfast of national dishes: golden potato pancakes, potato dumplings, bright jelly, fragrant tea made from homemade herbs, and berry compote. Both children and adults loved it. The young athletes could have as many healthy drinks as they wanted, and Vyacheslav refilled our supplies when we asked. He welcomed us, fed us, and showed us around the Estate, including his workshop and the things he’d made. He also talked with the children about different kinds of trees and how people use them. With his help, each child made a wish and decorated a slice of wood to take home as a souvenir. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of heart into the Estate. They love children and welcome people warmly. Thank you for such a comfortable stay. We wish the Estate prosperity, and its owners good health, energy, kind guests, and many new encounters.

Vyacheslav was welcoming and ready to help with any questions. At his suggestion, we got a temporary pass from the security guard, which made the walk to the sports complex even shorter. We stayed at the Naslavu estate with our children for a competition, and there were 18 of us. The place is tidy, themed throughout, and clean. It’s simple but feels homey, and both the adults and kids really enjoyed it. A big thank you to Vyacheslav for looking after us and helping us out!

We celebrated a birthday here, and the place has a lot of character. The owner and his family made nearly everything, inside and out, by hand. The wooden tables, beds, chairs, ladders, and chests have a warmth you don’t get with mass-produced furniture. There’s a workshop next to the house where you can see different pieces in progress. Cheerful kittens greet you on the porch, and there’s a big terrace and barbecue area nearby. The house is arranged across five levels instead of separate floors, and there are hardly any interior doors, which makes it feel more open. On the first level there’s a kitchen with a large dining area, a bathroom, and a sauna. We were 10 people, though the tables could easily seat 15-18. The third level has a spacious living room, another bathroom, a fireplace, a big samovar, and a modular bed that can be turned into armchairs or small sofas. Along the wall are branching wooden creations with shapes that bring animals, hands, a heart, or sections of the cerebral cortex to mind. Small bedrooms are on levels two and four, while the fifth is a large roof space with four single beds. The owner is friendly and clearly puts himself into his work. He’ll tell you about the house and give you a tour of about an hour, full of interesting stories. You can also meet the snails, hold them, and watch them eat. For an extra charge, breakfast is available, including potato and berry dumplings and aromatic tea gathered by the owner’s family, with a chance to learn how it’s made. They also offer classes in Belarusian and Georgian cooking. We brought lots of food with us, so didn’t book a class this time, but we’ll try one on our next visit.

We had a great New Year’s Eve with friends, and Vyacheslav clearly loves his work. My only concern was the stairs. They felt quite dangerous because they all have railings. I’ve stayed in places I can compare it with, and overall this was great.

A quiet, warm, clean little house with a distinctive interior. We had a lovely family break, and the hosts were very welcoming. They also offered excellent Georgian cooking classes.
