Crowne Plaza Minsk Hotel

The Club Room was kept well stocked all day, and the staff were all pleasant and helpful. Everyone spoke English. Our room was quite large and beautifully appointed. From the moment we booked, they treated us like royalty. As a Spire Elite member, I got an upgrade, and both the manager and concierge came over to introduce themselves. What an amazing hotel!

Being close to the main sights made this a handy base for seeing Minsk and its Soviet architecture. The rooms are above average, with clean, modern bathrooms. Next, the nightclub on the third floor, is a highlight and stays open every night from 11pm to 6am. Breakfast was disappointing, though the made-to-order omelettes were good. For taxis, ask reception to call one; most rides cost 10-20 rubles. Their private airport driver costs 50 rubles, and using the hotel's driver for pickup can help avoid being overcharged by a local taxi. There are cash machines at the airport. You also need to buy the required health insurance just before customs, at about $1 USD per day.

We’ve stayed with them twice now and would happily make it a third. The staff are supportive, service is very good, and the rooms are lovely and clean. The location works well too, with several places to eat, malls, and the metro all within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The location is a real plus, right in the center and convenient for major venues. Breakfast was very good, and the WiFi worked reliably. Service was just okay. The rooms were clean enough, but rather dim, especially the bathroom. Smoking is allowed in the lobby and restaurant, which leaves a really unpleasant smell. The restaurant food was mediocre and somewhat expensive, though breakfast is served elsewhere. Rooms can be quite noisy, with thin walls and, apparently, some connecting doors.
