Gostinichnyy Kompleks Yubileynyy Hotel

I just got back from three days in Minsk, where I stayed at Yubilieny, and I really enjoyed my time there. The hotel was very good value and the service was good. My room was very clean, and I had a cool view of the river. On a rainy day I enjoyed watching Belarusian TV. Thanks for everything, I won't forget it.

A good option if you're staying in the city for several nights and want to be right in the middle of things. The bus stop is outside the hotel, with shops and restaurants all around. My room was clean, decent, and big enough. Even a single room is fine for two or three people :) The price is good too. Hope I can return soon.

The sheets seemed a bit questionable cleanliness-wise, though the rooms themselves were OK, just ordinary. You can tell the hotel was built in the Soviet era, and the architecture feels quite grey and not very welcoming.

For the price, it’s a good hotel. The staff were friendly, and from what I could see, it was clean. The shower, beds, Wi-Fi, curtains, and room size were all OK. Breakfast wasn’t what I’m used to as a Dutchman. There was no proper fresh bread, just a typical local breakfast. The breakfast room was an old canteen and didn’t feel cosy. The hotel “bar” was the same sort of place, not somewhere you’d want to spend the evening. The location is close to the old city and city center.
