The stained glass in the stairwells, showing scenes from the city's history, was a lovely detail. The rooms were spotless, with a comfortable bed and an impressively strong shower. It's a quiet, relaxed place, with dark wood and quality materials throughout. Staff were helpful and spoke English. It has the feel of a high-end city hotel from the old days, updated for today.

The location makes it easy to get around by public transport, and most sights are within walking distance. You're right in the city centre, and most of the staff are very helpful. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and comfortable areas that reminded me of the Soviet era. One thing to keep in mind: there's no laundry service at weekends. Also, breakfast was charged at checkout without any warning.

I had a nice stay, thanks. The rooms are modest but roomy and perfectly fine, and the internet worked well enough for me to watch TV on my laptop. Breakfast and the location were both very good, and the staff did their best to help with everything. I got a bit nervous over a misunderstanding about the airport transfer. I apologize for that.

For what I paid, I expected a lot more, so I wouldn't recommend it. The room was a freezing 15-17 Celsius, and the shower was poor. Staff told us the fridge is designed to stay at +12, which doesn't work for storing food or cold drinks. Breakfast wasn't worth the price either. And on the weekend, the church bell will wake you up.
