It's just an ordinary hostel, nothing special. Find out in advance how to get into the building. Otherwise, you'll be waiting for someone to open the door, hear them complain about the hostel and then about their life, and only then get let in 🤷🏼‍♂️

We were allowed to leave our bags in reception or the lounge after checkout, which was a big help since our flight wasn't until 10 p.m. We spent the day on excursions, then came back, had tea, rested in the lounge without anyone chasing us out, took a shower, and called a taxi to the airport. Checkout was at noon, and they let us use the space until 6 p.m. My husband and I were looking for somewhere cheap for a three-day Minsk trip, since we'd be out sightseeing all day. I found Grand Inn online. The reviews hadn't impressed me, but the price and location in the historic center worked for us. Our room was ready when we arrived, and the stay was a solid four. It's not suited to people who fuss over perfect cleanliness, comfort, and convenience. For a cheap and cheerful stay, it was ideal. I'll come back on my next Minsk trip, and I recommend it.

What a terrible experience!!!!! My husband, children, toy poodle and I arrived in Belarus hoping to rent a room. The administrator was rude, and as we aren't from Belarus, we didn't know what to do and expected some guidance. He offered no help with figuring out what to do about the dog, then threatened to call the police if we showed up with it. I even asked where I could leave the dog temporarily, maybe at a dog hotel. He just hung up. It really soured my impression of service in Minsk. I strongly ask the business owner to address this, because employees like this will sink the business.

Awful. I was placed in a room by the kitchen while pregnant. Other guests came in to eat and made noise until 1 a.m., then breakfast prep started at 6:30. There wasn't even soap, and a puddle from the leaking fridge had spread under the door. The view is the only nice thing here.
