We stayed in a room with a sauna and pool, and swimming about 20 short laps in the morning and evening made for a pleasant, satisfying workout. Breakfast is made at the time you choose, with options like an omelet, scrambled eggs, or porridge, plus cheese, yogurt, and decent coffee. The place consists of two houses facing each other in a residential area on the edge of town. It’s nice and clean, and the room has a kettle, tea, slippers, and modest robes. It works well if you have a car, though the metro is a 15-20-minute walk away. Google Maps gets the last part of the route wrong, whether you’re walking or driving. Go to building 18 on Kosmonavtov Street, find the section of Kurgannaya Street that starts there, then follow it to your building.
