The apartment has a living room with an electric fireplace and kitchenette, plus two bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room’s huge window looks out beautifully over Independence Avenue. It worked very well for two couples. The host is easy to reach on Viber, which is handy for calling from Russia. The location is good too: 25 minutes from kilometer zero in the city center, with several grocery stores nearby, including Euroopt, and an antique shop across the street. There’s parking in the courtyard. Enter through the arch between buildings 46 and 48, with the Yves Roshe store as a landmark. It’s a typical Stalin-era building with high ceilings, so the second floor feels more like the third.
