Sport Time Hotel

The rooms feel like small dorms, and the beds break easily. If a shower went on longer than five minutes, the water backed up. Room service was good, but hardly anyone spoke English, so be ready to use Google Translate.

The location is near a huge park, though not close enough to the center for me. Buses 1 and 10 take about three minutes, or two stops, to Arena mall and park Drazdy, which is very nice. Bus 1 takes around 18 minutes to Nimiga metro and the town center. The rooms are okay, but there’s only a shower, the sink is tiny, and there’s no minibar or kettle. In summer, sometimes there’s no hot water. The elevator is slow and annoying. Lunch was okay, but breakfast was very bad, although you can ask for fried eggs, which are nice. Food costs more on weekends. It’s cheap, but there are cheaper places. If you can afford more, I’d look at three-star hotels, which usually have better service and conditions, less noise, and not that much difference in price.

The room was clean, the beds were good, and the bathroom was good too, if a bit dated. For what I paid, it was a good hotel. Breakfast was the only downside for me, though that may just be personal taste. There wasn’t much to choose from, and the options weren’t really my thing.

The rooms are nice, but the restaurant is really bad. There are only a few tables, not enough for a hotel this size, so there’s nowhere to sit. There’s hardly any food, and what they do have is bad. Only one girl was working.
