The Basilian Minsk Hotel, Curio Collection By Hilton

Veronica, our hostess and bartender, deserves a special mention. She was wonderful and always went above and beyond. The restaurant and lobby staff were friendly, attentive, smiling, and happy to accommodate my needs. The cleaning crew did a great job with the room every day, and I could converse in English with everyone. My only suggestion is to make sure the fitness center has fresh towels every day. I spent six nights here on a work trip and had a very pleasant stay at this boutique hotel. As a Diamond member, I found everything I needed, and the whole team helped make things comfortable. The location is right between the center and old city, close to everything, with a short walk to the old city, restaurants, and city center. The room had modern decor and the latest charging options. The gym had plenty of choices for fitness enthusiasts. Breakfast had a great selection, and the restaurant turned into a cozy place for a drink after a long day.

Anna at the front desk gave me helpful tips for sights and restaurants in Minsk, and I'm especially grateful to her. The breakfast was delicious and had everything I could want. I had what was probably my best hotel stay ever at the Basilian Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and I was upgraded to a spacious, modern, stylish two-room apartment. I truly enjoyed my stay.

The room was clean, and the whole experience was super pleasant. A washer and dryer in the room was a nice surprise, and as a Diamond member I truly appreciated the staff taking the time to accommodate me. It's a nice, quiet spot in the middle of the old town, and the staff were friendly.

The housekeeping was so infrequent and poorly done that I started wondering if the claim was every 2-3 days as some kind of sick joke. It felt more like every 2-3 weeks, and I could have cleaned the room better myself. The lack of workers was astonishing; the hotel felt like a ghost town with nobody available to help. At 22:15, I made a simple, reasonable request for ice. The restaurant was conveniently closed, so I was left without ice and fuming in my room. My partner and I were also celebrating our anniversary, but as Diamond members we got no acknowledgment or special treatment, not even a simple "happy anniversary." The promised Diamond member "welcome gift" was nowhere to be found either. It seemed the hotel had no regard for the details or the service loyal guests expect from the Hilton brand. I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Hilton, and it was a dreadful experience that shattered my expectations of the brand. As a loyal Diamond member, I expected much better service. The whole stay was a disgrace and a slap in the face to the Hilton standard I had trusted. The poor cleaning, lack of staff, ice debacle, and disregard for loyal members left me angry and disappointed. I will never stay at this Hilton again, and strongly urge others to steer clear of this nightmare of a hotel. Hilton should be ashamed of how this establishment has tarnished its name. It was an absolute travesty.
