Atrium Hotel

I’d been staying at this hotel for nearly a month on a business trip when something happened that made me very angry. At 6 in the morning, an unbearable noise started in my room and continued until 1 in the afternoon. I asked my Russian-speaking friend to talk with reception. I moved my luggage there twice and asked to change rooms, but was told there were no vacancies. The noise suddenly stopped, so I didn’t push further and carried my things back. At 5 PM it started again. I ruled out the air conditioner and refrigerator, then turned off all the power, but the noise was still there. My local friend spoke with reception again. The receptionist said she’d arrange for workers to fix it. A few hours later, staff told me it had been repaired and blamed a faulty air conditioner. I explained that I hadn’t turned it on and the power was off. She insisted it was fixed and said there were no rooms for me, even though I checked online and saw many vacancies. When I returned to my room, the noise was still there. I decided to change hotels and went to the front desk. The staff had just changed over. The new receptionist asked why I couldn’t simply change rooms, then asked me to pay the difference and changed it easily. I went to reception four times to complain and showed them a video of how serious the problem was, but nothing came of it for no apparent reason. It really affected my mood. This was the first time I’d had such a bad impression of this area. To me, this shows very poor management and service, and an inability to solve the problem. I’ll keep gathering information and continue complaining to your headquarters.
