Amaks City Hotel G'lobin

The staff were friendly, though the rest was a mixed bag. Some rooms smell damp, and the kettles in them really need replacing. There were old boards stacked on the floor, and no water in the coolers. The parking area could use leveling too. Still, it wasn't all bad.

The hotel has been closed for quite a while, yet a sign at the train station still directs people to it. Ask the station staff about the hotel shown on the information board and they don't know where it is.

It's one of the city's earliest hotels, and its central location is the main plus. The reception has an interesting feel, and the staff are pleasant, but there isn't much else to recommend. Prices are steep, as they are at other hotels, so renting an apartment for a day would probably cost about the same.

The train station is nearby, and the place is clean with friendly staff. The rooms are pretty basic, though, and some plaster is cracked. I noticed there can be stains on the bedding and tablecloths. With so few guests, you may have to let the water run for a while before it gets hot. I'd still rate it four.
